Fiberglass Polyester Resin 20 Lt-Unwaxed

RAYPLEX #201 Fiberglass Resin is a high-strength polyester resin used to build most boats. Use with fiberglass tape, cloth or mat to repair damaged interior fiberglass boats, snowmobiles, jet skis, bathtubs and showers stalls. Use as a sealer on damaged and rotted wood. Great on rusted-out body metal and joins most surfaces together while creating a strong and long lasting bond. Sand in less than 2 hours. Compatible with all paints, including gel coat and marine paints.

Professional quality, premium production grade, general purpose polyester resin. The resin has thixotropic agent added which prevents drainage on vertical surfaces. This resin does not contain any DCP resins. It is air-inhibited (stays tacky) to create good adhesion without sanding between coats. Contains no wax for best adhesion between layers of fibreglass laminate thereby eliminating the need to sand between layers. Medium viscosity with a 20 to 30-minute pot-life at 1.25% MEKP catalyzation. Polyester Resin can be used for car repairs, one off molds, boat deck repairs, hockey masks. body work and general repair work. It is used in laminating parts and has excellent wet out properties allowing air bubbles to be easily removed. Use with fibreglass mat, woven roving, cloth, kevlar and carbon fibre. Use MEKP Catalyst also generically know as HARDENER which is available. CATALYST SOLD SEPARATELY
